How do I get started with booking a session?
You can visit my Contact page to fill out a session form and select the best date and time for your schedule! A $250 deposit is required to book your session and secure your date (Please note that session fees do not include any images or products).
What do most of your clients choose to do?
Most clients invest $1500 or more for 1-2 hour long sessions. These sessions include a shoot at your home or location of our choosing in Metro Detroit. Travel fees apply outside of Metro Detroit.
What should I know when preparing for my session?
The best light is either early am or late afternoon, so please keep this in mind when booking a session on my Contact form. Please don’t wear logos that could be visible in photographs. Please do not use cell phones or other cameras to photograph images at the presentation. You may also want to bring a mirror, brush, chap stick, and makeup to session.
When will I get to see these images?
Shortly after our session, I will contact you to book a date and time for an in-person presentation of your photo shoot. Approximately 25 images will be shown in-person during the photo presentation session. This will also be your opportunity to order any products from your session.
What if I want to order more products after we meet?
Every image you order is kept on file for one year. There is a $100 fee for 2nd ordering appointment.
Do you send me the digital copies of our session?
There are no online galleries of your photography. All photographs are copyrighted by the photographer, Liz Nyquist, of Liz Nyquist Photography. By hiring Liz, you must be aware that she will retain copyright of all images taken. Please note that it is illegal for photographs to be reprinted, published (without written permission of the photographer) or scanned in any manner or medium.
How often does your pricing change?
Prices are subject to change at any time. However, the prices given to you when booking a session will be honored for 1 month from your session date.
How can I pay for this service?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Android Pay are accepted as well as checks and cash. Please note there is an additional 6% Michigan Sales Tax, which is included in pricing on all art products.
Upon ordering your products, payment will be due in full (including any shipping costs that may be required). Please allow 6 weeks for delivery after your payment in full is received.
